Heroes fall. They fall like every other human, like every other creature with emotions, and at their lowest, they fear that they will never have the strength to get back up again. Crushed in the dirt, sweaty and bloody, battered and broken. The difference between heroes and men is that they get back up again. They have the strength to keep going on, to keep moving forward, to keeping being who they are. And even if they think they are ordinary, everyone else knows that they are much more than that.

The bravery, the courage, the strength to fall and get back up again. This is what makes them a hero.


This is the writing journal of redknightalex. Mainly created to keep things simple and to separate it from my random fandom squees and real life awesomness mundanity.

It's a multi-fandom type of writing journal, although as of 2010 it is mostly going to be Doctor Who fanfics, both Classic and New Who variaties. Slowly but surely I will be moving over all of my old fic to this journal while still keeping the old posts on my regular account. However, from here on out, this will be my primary writing journal.

Friending: Feel free to friend but, unless you're me, you won't be added back. I promise not to look at your own private entries if you friend this journal as it is not my main account and trust is important. If you care to read my ramblings (for they are rather long), head to my main journal. It's mostly f-locked but I'm an easy-going person and like to make new friends. As long as we can agree to disagree, we're off to a great start.
